Junior Jackson, Jr, is the Scoutmaster of Troop 27 in Mabry, North Carolina. Some consider the Troop, which was founded by his father Junior Senior, to be doomed. Over a span of forty years the Scouts encounter demons – real and imagined, many self-imposed – that earn the Troop its reputation.
